This is Éva, She has been a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church in Szolnok for many many years. She came to Christ during a very challenging time in her family life. Money and health problems and just the stress that life brings, and she was searching for truth. Her daughter received an invitation to attend a baseball camp hosted by Bible Baptist Church, ran by missionary Dan Peter. She watched her daughter come home each day that week eager to memorize parts of the Bible. Their family did not even have a Bible at home before this time. That Friday on the last day of camp, Éva and her husband came to the closing session. After hearing the gospel at this closing service, they soon received Christ and began to grow in Him. I share this great story with you because it is a reminder to me on why we are in Hungary. To bring the gospel to those who are also hurting and searching for truth. The false religion of Catholicism and the Reformed have left Hungary in the dark and void of anything spiritual. Please pray for Hungary. Please pray for the many families like Éva’s that are searching for truth. We have handed out well of 10,000 invitations and will continue to hand out more. Please ask God to give fruit for this. labour.
November will close out with a Thanksgiving Celebration. The church will host a meal and have special services. This is an opportunity to invite friends and family to come for the church. Please be in prayer for this service as we are asking the Lord for souls to be saved.

This past month, Bible Baptist Church of Szolnok held its annual Family Conference. I invited another missionary to be the speaker. Mike Frueh and his wife are working about 3 hours away in another town. They are currently working with an established church as they learn the language and customs of Hungary and soon will be planting more churches. His messages were themed around Acts 4:20, teaching us about sharing our story with others of the greatness of God in our lives.

This is a beautiful picture of the sun rise here in Szolnok over a Catholic church. Every hour from 6AM to 8PM, musical bells can be heard tolling from this church. However, inside the walls of the church, there are hundreds of idols and false depictions of Christ. The building is used to guide people away from God in truth and deceives the people in believing a lie. God and the Bible are presented as unapproachable except through the priest. Please pray for the truth of the Gospel to prevail over these lies.
